Job summary

Nutrire Nutrition Services is seeking a Registered Dietitian or Licensed Dietitian for a 1099 Independent Contractor role in Ft. Lauderdale, FL with a hybrid schedule. The position offers 32-40 hours per week and an opportunity to impact patient care through nutrition counseling.

Responsibilities include assessments, care plan development, collaboration with healthcare teams, and staying current with evidence-based practices. Licensure in FL (DTR or RD) and CDR accreditation are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nutrition/Dietetics or related field.
• CDR accreditation.
• Licensed dietitian or DTR in FL.
• 1 year of experience in dietetics; long-term care preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

• Provide one-on-one nutrition counseling to patients with diverse dietary needs.

• MDS section K and Care plan development

• Collaborate with healthcare providers to incorporate dietetic recommendations into patient care plans

• Stay current with evidence-based research and best practices in nutrition therapy

• Participate in ongoing professional development to maintain expertise and expertise

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Nutrition/Dietetics or related field

• Accreditation by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)

• Licensed dietitian or DTR in FL

• (1) years of experience in dietetics (Long-term care experience preferred)
