Job Details: Western State Hospital, an acute care adult psychiatric facility in Hopkinsville, KY, is seeking a Dietitian to provide nutritional care for individuals with mental health conditions. This full-time role (30-40 hrs/wk, Monday-Friday, flexible schedule) requires onsite presence and involves working closely with an interdisciplinary team to support patient well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing medical nutrition therapy, including assessment, diet modification, education, and intervention
• Following all guidelines outlined in the Company Diet Manual and Nutrition Policies & Procedures
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, confidentiality, HIPAA, and patient rights
• Training and mentoring staff and interns as applicable
• Participating in patient satisfaction, departmental meetings, and quality improvement programs

Qualifications:

• Registered Dietitian credential from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
• State licensure where required
• One year of hospital experience preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, electronic medical records, and nutrient analysis software
