Job Details: Western State Hospital in Hopkinsville, KY is seeking a Dietitian to provide nutritional care for individuals with mental health conditions. This full-time position (30-40 hrs/wk, Monday-Friday, flexible schedule) requires onsite presence and involves working closely with an interdisciplinary team to support patient well-being.

1. Provides medical nutrition therapy including assessment, diet modification, education, and intervention for patients.
2. Follows guidelines outlined in the Company Diet Manual and Nutrition Policies & Procedures.
3. Ensures compliance with regulatory standards, confidentiality, HIPAA, and patient rights.
4. Trains and mentors staff and interns as applicable.
5. Participates in patient satisfaction, departmental meetings, and quality improvement programs.

Qualifications:

1. Registered Dietitian credential from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
2. State licensure where required.
3. Preferred: One year of hospital experience.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, electronic medical records, and nutrient analysis software.
