Dietitian | Full Time

Holland Home of Grand Rapids is seeking a full-time Dietitian to join our team of health care professionals at our Raybrook Campus in Grand Rapids. Our Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living facilities are committed to delivering high-quality care to older adults.

Responsibilities

• Review physicians' diagnoses and design therapeutic nutritional care plans.
• Monitor and document patient progress, consulting with physicians as needed.
• Educate staff, residents, and families on diet plans and perform dietary counseling.
• Ensure food service operations comply with nutritional plans.
• Integrate and implement nutritional needs and diet restrictions with other departments.
• Review and document nutritional care plans to improve residents' eating functions.
• Revise and implement nutrition assessments and care plans with the interdisciplinary team.
• Process new diet orders and update diet cards.
• Complete dietary histories, care plans, and medical record charting promptly.
• Review and approve cycle menus with the management team.
• Recommend changes to enhance meal plans.
• Monitor safety, sanitation, and security in Dining Services.

Schedule

Monday - Friday, Full-time, Day shift

Compensation

Starting at $55,931 ($26.89/hour). Wages increase with relevant experience.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in food and nutrition or dietetics from an accredited program.
• Current registration with the American Dietetics Association.
• Two years of experience as a Dietitian.
• ServSafe certification.
• Experience with geriatric and elderly populations preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and compassion for the elderly and their families.
