Working on the Operations Department
We are seeking a Clinical Dietitian with an active Registered Dietitian (RD) license in New York State to support our New York program by ensuring high-quality nutritional care for members. In this remote role, you’ll assess nutritional status, prescribe medically tailored meals, and deliver culturally relevant, evidence-based health education to members with chronic conditions.
A quick heads up: This is a part-time (minimum 20 hours/week, maximum 35 hours/week), contract role. There’s potential for it to convert into a longer-term opportunity. During the contract period, benefits won’t be available. We’re looking for someone who’s ready to jump in now and is excited about the possibility of growing with the team if the fit is right.
What You’ll Get to Do
Report to the Senior Director, Clinical Operations.
Participate in the development of nutrition standards and health education for chronic conditions using the latest scientific evidence and dietary trends.
Provide individualized health education to ensure each member receives the most current evidence-based information.
Create appropriate nutritional interventions for each member and ensure the food prescriptions are properly received by the fulfillment team.
Create and provide quality nutrition services including, but not limited to nutrition screening, assessment, counseling, and education.
Consider religious, cultural, and ethical factors when completing nutrition assessments and creating nutrition interventions.
Consider potential food, drug, and herb/supplement interactions when providing nutrition education and counseling.
Work with the member to identify an appropriate nutrition education plan and set achievable goals.
Keep current with dietetics practice and maintain credentials and professional certifications.
What You’ll Bring to the Team
Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field from an accredited institution.
Registered Dietitian credential and active licensure to practice in New York State.
Fluency in Spanish (required).
Strong understanding of clinical nutrition, especially related to chronic conditions.
Experience working with electronic health records (EHRs) and delivering care or assessments via telehealth platforms.
Detail-oriented with a strong ability to assess complex dietary needs in a systems-based setting.
Previous experience in clinical review, nutrition operations, or healthtech environments preferred.

Compensation Philosophy (Full-time Employees)
The compensation range listed represents the total cash value, which includes a combination of base salary and an annual bonus or variable compensation. This range does not account for equity, which is included in the overall compensation package.
Compensation estimates are based on market data about the role and level, while individual compensation offers will be determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
