GBMC HealthCare in Towson, MD, is seeking a registered dietitian to provide nutrition services for inpatients and outpatients. The role includes diabetes education, diet planning, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary health care team. The position is scheduled for 32 hours per week.
Required is a Bachelor's in Dietetics or Nutrition and Maryland licensure with CDR registration. Diabetes educator certification is preferred with a plan to obtain within 12 months of hire.
Under general supervision, provides nutritional services to inpatients and outpatients. Educates staff and community on diabetes management. Plans therapeutic diets in accordance with physician’s diagnoses and requirements of regulatory agencies. Functions as a member of the interdisciplinary health care team to implement nutrition care plans. This position is scheduled for 32 hours per week.
Bachelor’s Degree in Dietetics or Nutrition from an accredited college or university
Employee has knowledge and understanding of patient and workforce safety as it relates to job duties.
Demonstrates competency in the delivery of care and applies the knowledge to meet age-specific needs if applicable.
Pay Range $58,488.99 - $93,582.39 Final salary offer will be based on the candidate's qualifications, education, experience and alignment with our organizational needs.
