We are looking for a Diabetes Educator Certified (Dietitian) for Central Nursing. Under general supervision, the educator assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates components of the diabetes education program at the diabetes and endocrine practice. The role also serves as the diabetes nutritionist for patient education, conducts continuing education programs in diabetes and nutrition for allied professionals and the general public, provides direct education to patients and families in an outpatient setting, responds to phone calls from parents of newly diagnosed children and adolescents, assists with the transition from inpatient to outpatient care, and addresses day‑to‑day type 1 and type 2 diabetes concerns including sick day management.

Minimum $34.62/hour – Maximum $57.19/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
