Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver in-service nutrition training for clients and staff.
• Attend treatment team meetings and coordinate nutrition-related initiatives.

Description:This position requires sourcing local and reliable candidates.Candidates may work up to 40 hours per week, depending on need and available postings.The schedule is flexible, and hours can be completed during the first shift.This position typically offers between 8 to 30 hours a week, averaging 24 hours.The role involves planning, evaluating, and implementing regular, special, and modified diets.Compliance with state and federal regulations, treatment plans, and accreditation standards is essential.Nutrition assessments will include reviewing medical charts and conducting interviews with clients and direct care staff.Maintaining dietary and nutrition records, reports, and progress notes is a key responsibility.Candidates will plan and/or conduct in-service training programs related to nutrition for clients and staff.Attendance at various meetings, including treatment team meetings, is required.Developing the ability to counsel clients regarding nutrition and prepare accurate reports is expected.Annual renewal of licensure is necessary to remain in this classification.The position may involve exposure to unpredictable resident actions.Large campus walking is required.
