Job summary

Quincy Medical Group is seeking a Registered Dietitian to deliver medical nutrition therapy across dialysis, endocrinology, and medical weight loss programs. You will work with patients and a multidisciplinary team to create individualized nutrition plans focused on chronic disease, kidney health, and sustainable weight management.

The role emphasizes patient education, teamwork, and thorough documentation, with daytime hours Monday–Friday in an outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field.
• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential required.
• Current Illinois licensure as a dietitian nutritionist required.
• Experience in renal nutrition, dialysis, diabetes education, endocrinology, weight management, or outpatient nutrition preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical nutrition therapy and individualized nutrition counseling based on diagnosis, goals, and treatment plan.
• Complete nutrition assessments and develop, implement, and monitor plans of care.
• Provide specialized nutrition support for dialysis patients with renal nutrition education.
• Collaborate with Endocrinology providers to support diabetes and metabolic health.
• Support the Medical Weight Loss program with counseling, goal setting, and follow-up.
• Monitor progress and adjust recommendations based on labs and outcomes.
• Educate patients and families to encourage sustainable changes.
• Document thoroughly in the EMR and coordinate care with the team.
• Participate in program development and nutrition services initiatives across QMG.
