Job summary

CGH Medical Center seeks a Clinical Dietitian to assess nutritional status and design medical nutrition therapy plans for patients. You will counsel patients and families, work with physicians on nutrition decisions, and document care in the medical record.

You will also present nutrition education to community groups and staff, participate in clinical teams and quality initiatives, and maintain BLS and Illinois licensure requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, Nutritional Science, or Foods and Nutrition required.
• Registered Dietitian (RD) required upon hire; Illinois Dietitian License required.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire and maintained thereafter.

Responsibilities

Plans and directs preparation of modified diets as prescribed by the medical staff of patients with therapeutic diet needs.
