Job summary

Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas is seeking a Clinical Dietitian to collaborate with an interdisciplinary team and provide high-quality Medical Nutrition Therapy to patients across ages. You will perform nutrition screenings, assess nutritional needs, and develop individualized care plans following evidence-based guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition/Dietetics or equivalent.
• Completion of an ACEND-accredited supervised practice program.
• One to two years hospital clinical nutrition experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate as part of the interdisciplinary healthcare team to provide Medical Nutrition Therapy following the Nutrition Care Process.
• Perform timely nutrition screenings and assessments.
• Identify patients at nutritional risk and evaluate their needs.
• Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans.
• Monitor outcomes of medical nutrition therapy interventions.
• Provide nutrition counseling to patients, families, and caregivers.
