Job summary

Southern Hills Hospital and Medical Center is seeking a Clinical Dietitian to assess nutritional needs and develop care plans for patients across all ages. You will collaborate with the care team and periodically evaluate therapy effects to ensure optimal outcomes.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Nutrition/Dietetics and RD certification; a Master’s is desirable and two years of acute care hospital experience is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition/Dietetics required.
  • Registered Dietitian credential required; Master’s preferred.
  • Minimum two years of acute care hospital experience preferred; CDE/CNSD desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Assess nutritional needs and develop nutrition care plans for pediatric to geriatric patients.
  • Periodically evaluate effects of nutritional therapy.
  • Collaborate with nursing and medical staff to provide care and education.
  • Engage in ongoing patient/family nutrition education and support.

Job Summary And Qualifications

As a Clinical Dietician, you will assess nutritional needs and develops and implement nutrition care plans for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.

You will periodically evaluate the effects of nutritional therapy.

You will cooperate with nursing and medical staff in providing complete and effective nutritional care and education for the patients and families and accept other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and/or Dietetics.
  • A Master’s degree in a related field is desirable.
  • Current status as a Registered Dietitian with the American Dietetic Association Commission on Dietetic Registration.
  • A minimum of two years of acute care hospital experience is preferred.
  • CDE (Certified Diabetes Educator) or CNSD (Certified Nutrition Support Dietitian) is desirable.
