Overview:

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a qualified Per Diem Registered Dietitian in Somerville, NJ.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Some weekends and holiday coverage required
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition or equivalent

Preferred:

• 1 year experience with eating disorders
• Master's Degree in Nutrition or equivalent (preferred but not required)
• CEDRD certification (preferred)
• Minimum of 1 year experience (preferred, open to new grads)

Certifications and Licenses:

• Registered Dietitian with CDR (Required)

Scheduling Requirements:

• Day Shift
• Per Diem Schedule (some weekends and holidays)

Essential Functions:

• Provide evidence-based nutrition care and medical nutrition therapy to inpatients and outpatients, using an all foods fit, weight inclusive Health at Every Size approach
• Offer individual nutrition therapy/education and group counseling, and contribute to multidisciplinary treatment plans
• Assist with nutrition-related and meal monitoring training for non-RD staff
• Support program development, policy, procedures, and quality assurance projects
