Under the supervision of a Senior Dietitian, Clinical Dietitian, or Lead Dietetic Technician, supports the Clinical Dietitians by collecting information, reporting observations, and communicating with patients, families, or caregivers. Responsibilities include obtaining nutrition and weight histories, food allergies, and preferences; adjusting meal selections; monitoring menu compliance; conducting meal rounds; providing education on food choices and meal planning; reporting observations; and implementing nutrition interventions as directed.
Minimum Qualifications: Baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution, completion of ACEND Didactic Program in Dietetics, or equivalent coursework with anticipated degree completion within 6 months. Evidence of Safe Serve Certification. Knowledge of nutrition science, food values, and evidence-based practice. Strong communication skills. Ability to work within food service systems and basic computer proficiency.
Experience: Prior experience in healthcare, food service, or related fields is desirable.
