Job Summary: The Pharmacy Technician will assist the pharmacist in all aspects of medication preparation and distribution. Responsibilities include preparing medications for automatic dispensing cabinets, repackaging into unit-dose blister packs, managing medication inventory, and documenting patient medication histories at admission. The technician will also support routine duties in the hospital pharmacy.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Preferably, graduates of a Pharmacy Technician Training Program. Must have Rhode Island Pharmacy Technician II License. Skills in math, typing, and computer use are necessary.
Schedule: Per Diem, available for at least 6 shifts per month, including 2 weekends.
