Position Summary

The Dietetic Technician is a collaborative opportunity on our Nutrition Services team. In this role, you will ensure MultiCare patients, families, and visitors have the best possible nutritional healthcare experiences.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional care to patients and ensure care plans meet dietary goals.
• Deliver outstanding customer service supporting our organizational values while serving a diverse population.
• Conduct assessments, provide counseling, and respond effectively to changing patient needs.
• Apply your enthusiastic, food-centric attitude and collaborate to provide quality service and an exceptional experience for our customers.

Requirements

• Registered Dietetic Technician or registration eligible within 120 days of hire.
• OR an Associate's Degree in dietetics or food and nutrition meeting ADA standards.
• OR Certified Dietary Manager certification or eligible within 120 days of hire.
• OR a BA or BS in a related field with approval of transcripts by the Director or Clinical Nutrition Manager.
• Current Washington State Food Handler's Card.
• Two (2) years of experience in patient nutritional care preferred.
