We are looking for a Field Service Technician for all of our locations - WA, OR, ID, AK, AZ, CO, UT, TX, OK, and MO.

What you'll be doing...

As a Field Service Technician, you will create an exceptional client experience by providing onsite repair and installation of dental equipment. Strong client relationship building and positive communication skills are essential. You will demonstrate technical expertise and customer service skills, serving as a role model to other technicians. Burkhart promotes career development through training, online classes, and manufacturer basic core equipment training.

• Provide an exceptional client experience by building relationships and performing timely repairs and installations for various equipment/projects.
• Support Burkhart's profitability by completing all service orders on time, reviewing work and parts used with clients or staff before leaving.
• Complete repairs by troubleshooting and performing repairs that keep offices operational, and educate staff on equipment use and maintenance.
• Lead installation teams to ensure on-time project completion, finalize punch-lists, and avoid callbacks.
• Work safely by following safety protocols, using protective equipment, and reporting hazards.
• Communicate professionally and promptly with customers and team members regarding service progress.
• Follow policies and procedures, including safe driving, vehicle maintenance, and cleanliness; drive assigned vehicles.
• Maintain van inventory and tools, demonstrating organization and preparedness.
• Attend trainings and meetings, seek assistance proactively, and demonstrate competency in scheduled milestones.

What you'll need...

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of customer service experience.
• 3+ years of technician experience on various equipment.
• Ability to travel up to 50% by car and airplane, including out-of-town travel.
• Valid driver's license, good driving record, and insurability.

Preferred additional education/experience includes vocational training in mechanics, electronics, pneumatics, hydraulics, military technical training, project lead experience, or dental experience.
