Position Summary

The Patient Care Technician is an ideal opportunity for those seeking a dynamic and comprehensive role within our health care system. By covering nursing care, transportation of patients, and clerical functions, you will support exceptional patient health outcomes.

In this role, you will hone your clerical and communication skills, develop age-appropriate nursing care expertise, and collaborate to support patient care and services.

Responsibilities

1. You will perform a dynamic range of duties and functions throughout the hospital.
2. You will assist in basic nursing care, transportation of patients, and clerical functions.
3. Apply your strong interpersonal skills when providing care for patients across a diverse spectrum of ethnic and social groups.
4. Collaborate with healthcare practitioners or registered nurses for comprehensive quality care.

Requirements

1. High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
2. Medical Assistant-Registered Certification Eligible (Must apply within seven (7) days of hire).
3. Must obtain Medical Assistant-Registered Certification within sixty (60) days of hire.
4. Nursing Assistant Certification/Licensure.
5. Current BLS Certification.
6. Recent bedside care experience in a healthcare environment.
