Qualifications

• Administrative and customer service support for hospital food service.
• Ability to handle patient meal service orders and maintain records.
• Experience with Dietetics Software for entering and updating meal orders.

Responsibilities

• Handles patient meal service orders and enters meal orders into Dietetics Software system.
• Review nutrition-related labs and discuss with RON.
• Collect intake history from patients or caretakers, including allergies, preferences, and update electronic records.
• Assist in completing test trays, including testing temperature and taste.
• May assist in conducting meal rounds and patient satisfaction surveys.
• Collaborate with Dietitians regarding Food/Drug Interactions and notify clinical staff of meal service issues.
• Print, prepare, and review meal tickets; communicate patient concerns to registered dietitian or supervisors.
• May perform other duties as assigned within the scope of the occupation.
