Responsibilities include handling patient meal service orders, collaborating with dietitians on dietary issues, interpreting diet orders, printing and reviewing meal tickets, and triaging calls related to meals and nourishments.

Qualificações

• English language proficiency required.
• Bachelor's degree with 24 semester hours in nutrition-related subjects or equivalent.
• Combination of education and specialized experience acceptable.

Responsabilidades

• Handle patient meal service orders and enter into Dietetics Software system.
• Provide professional customer service via telephone, email, and in person.
• Collaborate with Dietitians regarding food/drug interactions and notify clinical staff of potential issues with meal service and delivery.
• Interpret and process diet orders; print, prepare, and review meal tickets.
• Triages calls from inpatient units or outpatient clinics relating to patient meal trays or nourishments.
• Retrieves computerized information to assist with tray and nourishment assembly; supports nutrition orders.
