Job summary

UC Davis Health is seeking a Dietetic Assistant (per diem) in Sacramento to process and verify diet orders, including infant formulas and fortified expressed breast milk, and modify patient menus using Computrition. You will generate cost and production reports, and support dietitians and nursing staff in delivering accurate meals and nutrition education.

You will maintain floor stocks, document donor breast milk, ensure safety, and respond promptly to patient meal requests while recording food

Qualifications

• Experience in a food service environment.
• Customer service experience assisting patients and cooperating with staff.
• Ability to read recipes, ingredient labels and allergen labels.
• Knowledge of standard and metric units of measurement.
• Clear oral and written communication.
• Interpersonal skills with diverse patients and staff.
• Proficiency with computers/tablets and EHR systems.
