Job summary

Temple Health is seeking a Dietary Team Leader for the Jeanes Campus to coordinate labor, food production and resources to ensure meals are safely prepared and meet patient needs. You will manage the Diet Office computerized systems and ensure updates are communicated to staff.

This part-time position requires a High School Diploma or Equivalent, 2 years in supervisory healthcare/food service, and ServSafe certification.

Qualifications

• 2 years experience in institutional health care or hospitality industry food service diet office and/or supervisory capacity.
• 1 year experience in CBORD/menu management software.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates labor, food production and other resources to assure meals are satisfactorily prepared with food safety.
• Manages Diet Office automated management system and communicates changes to pertinent staff.
• Ensures Diet Office system is maintained and updated as needed.

Coordinates labor, food production and other resources to assure that meals are satisfactorily prepared within an environment that assures food safety and maximizes the potential to meet patient and customer needs. Effectively processes and manages aspects of the diet office management computer system. Ensures that the Diet Office automated management system is properly maintained, updated as needed and communicates those changes to pertinent staff as required.

Education

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
• Associate's Degree Preferred
• Non Degree Program Certified Dietetic Assistant Preferred

Experience

• 2 years experience in institutional health care or hospitality industry food service diet office and/or supervisory capacity. Required
• 1 year experience in CBORD/menu management software. Preferred

Licenses

• ServSafe Certification Required
• Dietetic Tech Reg Preferred
• Certified Dietary Manager Preferred
