Job summary

Temple Health is hiring a part-time Dietary Team Leader at the TUH-Jeanes Campus in Northeast Philadelphia. This role coordinates labor and food production to meet patient and customer needs while maintaining food safety standards.

The incumbent manages the diet office system and ensures it is kept up to date and communicated to staff. The position emphasizes experience in institutional health care or hospital food service with CBORD/menu management knowledge and appropriate dietetic credentials

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required.
• Associate's Degree Preferred.
• Non Degree Program Certified Dietetic Assistant Preferred.

Coordinates labor, food production and other resources to assure that meals are satisfactorily prepared within an environment that assures food safety and maximizes the potential to meet patient and customer needs. Effectively processes and manages aspects of the diet office management computer system. Ensures that the Diet Office automated management system is properly maintained, updated as needed and communicates those changes to pertinent staff as required.

Education

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
• Associate's Degree Preferred
• Non Degree Program Certified Dietetic Assistant Preferred

Experience

• 2 years experience in institutional health care or hospitality industry food service diet office and/or supervisory capacity. Required
• 1 year experience in CBORD/menu management software. Preferred

Licenses

• ServSafe Certification Required
• Dietetic Tech Reg Preferred
• Certified Dietary Manager Preferred
