Job summary

Temple Health is seeking a Dietary Team Leader to coordinate labor, food production and resources to ensure high-quality meals while upholding food safety standards. The role includes managing the Diet Office management system and communicating updates to staff.

The ideal candidate has 2 years in institutional health care or hospital food service supervision, 1 year with CBORD/menu management software, and holds a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • 2 years of experience in institutional health care or hospitality food service diet office supervisory role is required.
  • 1 year experience with CBORD/menu management software is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate labor, food production and resources to ensure meals meet patient and customer needs and food safety standards.
  • Manage and maintain the Diet Office management system; communicate changes to staff as needed.
  • Oversee overall diet office operations to ensure smooth, compliant service.

Dietary Team Leader - (264986)

Coordinates labor, food production and other resources to assure that meals are satisfactorily prepared within an environment that assures food safety and maximizes the potential to meet patient and customer needs. Effectively processes and manages aspects of the diet office management computer system. Ensures that the Diet Office automated management system is properly maintained, updated as needed and communicates those changes to pertinent staff as required.

Education
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
  • Associate's Degree Preferred
  • Non Degree Program Certified Dietetic Assistant Preferred
Experience
  • 2 years experience in institutional health care or hospitality industry food service diet office and/or supervisory capacity. Required
  • 1 year experience in CBORD/menu management software. Preferred
Licenses
  • ServSafe Certification Required
  • Dietetic Tech Reg Preferred
  • Certified Dietary Manager Preferred
