Job summary

Temple Health is seeking a Dietary Team Leader to coordinate labor, food production and resources to assure meals are safely prepared and meet patient and customer needs. You will oversee the diet office management system and ensure updates are communicated to staff as required.

The role involves leadership responsibilities, CBORD/menu management familiarity, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards within a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Associate's Degree preferred; non-degree program certified dietetic assistant preferred.
• Experience in institutional health care or hospitality food service diet office preferred.

Coordinates labor, food production and other resources to assure that meals are satisfactorily prepared within an environment that assures food safety and maximizes the potential to meet patient and customer needs. Effectively processes and manages aspects of the diet office management computer system. Ensures that the Diet Office automated management system is properly maintained, updated as needed and communicates those changes to pertinent staff as required.

Education

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
• Associate's Degree Preferred
• Non Degree Program Certified Dietetic Assistant Preferred

Experience

• 2 years experience in institutional health care or hospitality industry food service diet office and/or supervisory capacity. Required
• 1 year experience in CBORD/menu management software. Preferred

Licenses

• ServSafe Certification Required
• Dietetic Tech Reg Preferred
• Certified Dietary Manager Preferred
