Job summary

The Riverside Premier Rehabilitation and Healing Center in New York is seeking an experienced Dietary Supervisor to lead our dining services and enhance residents' daily experience. You will supervise the dietary team, ensure meals meet medical orders and dietary needs, and partner with the Registered Dietitian on care plans.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising dietary operations in a Skilled Nursing Facility, Long-Term Care, or healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of therapeutic diets and food safety regulations.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• ServSafe certification preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lead a team effectively.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily operations of the Dietary Department.
• Ensure meals are prepared and served per residents' dietary needs and physician orders.
• Oversee dietary staff scheduling, training, and performance.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including food safety and sanitation standards.
• Monitor food quality, presentation, and resident satisfaction.
• Assist with inventory management, ordering, and cost control.
• Collaborate with the Registered Dietitian and interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality nutritional care.
• Participate in state surveys and regulatory inspections.
