Job summary

Levindale Hebrew Geriatric Center, part of LifeBridge Health, seeks a Dietary Supervisor to lead dietary staff from opening to closing of the department.

Responsibilities include QA and regulatory compliance, record keeping, and staff training to meet State and JCAHO standards; ensure temperature records and sanitation audits are maintained and acted upon.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years experience in a dietary/food service supervisory role.
• Ability to ensure compliance with State and JCAHO standards.
• Certification as SERV Safe Food Handler is required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise dietary staff from opening to closing of the department.
• Maintain records for temperature and sanitization per standards.
• Conduct sanitation audits and develop corrective action plans.

Job description

Summary

To Supervise Dietary Staff, form the opening of the Department until the closing of the Department.

Responsibilities

Quality Assurance/Regulatory Compliance. Participates in record keeping and staff training which assures that the Department is in compliance with State and JCAHO standards. Maintains proper records in the kitchen pertaining to refrigerator and freezer temperatures. Maintains proper records in the kitchen pertaining to dish machine temperatures and Pot Sink sanitizer concentration. Conducts periodic Kitchen sanitation audits as directed by the Department Head and develops action plans from those audits.
