Job summary

Levindale Hebrew Geriatric Center and Hospital, part of LifeBridge Health in Baltimore, is seeking a qualified finance professional to assist with day-to-day activities, reconcile general ledger accounts, and prepare journals and schedules. You will support the annual audit and tax reporting processes, ensuring accurate records and timely reporting.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree with 1–3 years of experience; CPA preferred.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in finance or accounting.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• CPA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs day-to-day activities of the organizational entities.
• Analyzes and reconciles selected general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
• Prepares worksheets and schedules; recommends and makes necessary adjustments.
• Maintains all records, files and ledgers related to specific area of responsibility.
• Assists in the preparation of financial reports and journal entries.
• Assists with annual audit and tax reporting needs.

About the Role:

Assists and supports the day to day financial activities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Performs the day-to-day activities of the organizational entities.
• Analyzes and reconciles selected general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
• Prepares worksheets and schedules; recommends and makes necessary adjustments.
• Maintains all records, files and ledgers related to specific area of responsibility.
• Assists in the preparation of financial reports on a recurring and ad hoc basis. Prepares periodic financial statements through preparation of journal entries and account analyses.
• Assists with the annual audit by providing various schedules and analyses. Assists in the preparation of annual tax reporting requirement needs.

REQUIREMENTS:

Experience: 1-3 years of experience

Education: Bachelor's degree required

Licenses/Certifications: CPA preferred

Pay Range: $31.94 to $47.91 Based On Experience
