Job summary

Woodbury Heights Center for Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated Food Service Supervisor to lead daily food service operations and ensure high-quality, compliant service for residents. The role requires strong leadership and the ability to work harmoniously with nursing staff.

The schedule is four days a week from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with the obligation to work every other weekend. A high school diploma or GED and at least five years of supervisory experience in a healthcare setting

Qualifications

• Must have at least five years of supervisory experience in a hospital, nursing facility, or related medical facility.
• Must read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Knowledge of food service practices, laws, and guidelines for nursing care facilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily food service operations.
• Maintain quality and safety standards in accordance with regulations.
• Coordinate with nursing and other staff to ensure resident satisfaction.

Education

• Must possess, as a minimum, a high school diploma or GED.
• Minimum five (1) year experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital, nursing care Facility, or other related medical Facility.

Specific Requirements

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• Must be knowledgeable of food services practices and procedures as well as the laws, regulations and guidelines governing food services functions in nursing care facilities.
• Must possess leadership ability and willingness to work harmoniously with and supervise other personnel.
• Must be able to relate information concerning a resident’s condition.
