Job summary

Staten Island Care Center in Staten Island, NY is seeking an experienced Dietary Supervisor to lead the dietary department and ensure residents receive nutritious meals safely.

You will oversee menu planning, staff scheduling, and quality food service while upholding health regulations. The role requires strong leadership, organizational and communication skills, and prior nursing home dietary supervision.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in dietary or food service supervisory role.
• Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
• Previous experience as a Dietary Supervisor in a nursing home setting preferred.
• Knowledge of dietary management, food safety, labor control, and staff scheduling.
• Familiarity with therapeutic diets, food restrictions, and kitchen operations.
• ServSafe certification preferred.

• Collaborate with the Director to ensure full compliance with Department of Health regulations and maintain the highest standards of food safety and resident satisfaction.
