Job summary

Oakmont Manor seeks a shift supervisor cook to manage the dietary kitchen operations. You will ensure meals are prepared safely, supervise staff, and uphold sanitation standards within the kitchen and dining areas.

Responsibilities include assisting with menu development, maintaining records, and coordinating meal service with the dietary supervisor. This role requires attention to safety, accuracy, and resident dietary needs on a daily basis.

Qualifications

• Able to read, write, and follow written and oral instructions.
• Basic knowledge of sanitation and safety.
• Ability to work with residents with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals and oversee proper cooking temps and portions.
• Maintain sanitary conditions in kitchen and dining areas.
• Assist with menu development and recipe record maintenance.
• Supervise Dietary Aides and assist head cook when needed.
• Monitor resident meal intake and dietary preferences.
