Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong verbal communication and reading/writing English
• Knowledge of cleanliness, organization and safety basics
• Experience in food service and/or long-term care is preferred
• Ability to adhere to safety and sanitary standards

Responsibilities

• Prepare nutritious and attractive meals and supplements for residents per Federal, State and Corporate requirements.
• Perform duties in a safe and sanitary manner.
• Supervise staff in the absence of the Director of Nutritional Services.
• Attend meetings and in-services as required.
• Present professional image to consumers through dress, behavior and speech.
• Adheres to Company standards for resolving consumer concerns.
• Ensures all patient/resident rights are protected.
