Job summary

Homestead of El Dorado is seeking a Dietary Supervisor to ensure meals are prepared per dietician-approved menus and in line with Federal and State regulations. The role requires cooking for 30+ residents, and supervision of cooks and dietary aides.

You will plan menus with a dietician and input from residents, manage schedules, and help maintain budgets while ensuring adherence to safety and infection-control standards. This is a full-time on-site position in El Dorado.

Qualifications

• Supervises cooks and dietary aides in a resident dining program.
• Plans menus in consultation with a dietician and residents.
• Maintains budgets and ensures compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

• Comply with the Community’s personnel, safety, and corporate policies and procedures.
• Report witnessed or reported allegations of resident abuse/neglect immediately to the Executive Director.
• Maintain the confidentiality of all resident and family information.
• Report to work on time and as scheduled.
• Assure that meals and snacks are prepared according to the menus and physician’s orders.
• Ensures adequate foods, supplies, and equipment are available.
• Maintain infection control procedures in preparation and storage of food and equipment.
• Participate in care plan meetings and respond to resident feedback about meals.
