Rushville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking an experienced Food Services Manager to lead the dietary department and ensure quality nutrition services. The role oversees planning, directing and supervising staff, menus and daily food preparation to meet residents' needs.

This is a full-time, on-site position requiring strong organizational and communication skills, with attention to safety and regulatory compliance. Prior dietary management experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• One year dietary experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or related medical setting preferred.
• Must read, write and speak English clearly.
• Ability to deal tactfully with residents, families, visitors and staff.
• Willingness to work harmoniously with others and maintain professionalism.
• Patience, tact, cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm.

Responsabilités

• Ensure dietary procedures follow established policies.
• Manage supplies, equipment and clean work areas in a sanitary manner.
• Assist in preparation and serving of meals per schedule.
• Return utensils to proper storage areas.
• Report accidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor.
• Attend staff meetings and perform related duties as assigned.
