Job summary

Healthcare Center is seeking a Dietary Manager to oversee nutrition services, food quality, and regulatory compliance in our skilled nursing facility. You will supervise dietary staff, manage menus, inventory, and purchasing, and ensure safe meal preparation while coordinating with nursing to meet resident dietary needs.

This full-time role offers a 7:00 AM–3:30 PM schedule, competitive compensation, and opportunities to support quality improvement initiatives in nutrition and dining services.

Qualifications

• CDM certification preferred.
• Experience in dietary management or food service leadership.
• Experience in healthcare setting preferred.
• Knowledge of nutrition, food safety, sanitation, and infection control.
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to supervise and motivate dietary staff.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to resident-centered service.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily dietary services and kitchen operations as the Dietary Manager.
• Ensure meals are prepared and served safely and in accordance with nutrition, sanitation, infection control, and food safety standards.
• Manage menus, meal planning, inventory, purchasing, and food ordering.
• Supervise, schedule, train, and support dietary staff.
• Monitor food quality, meal service, and resident satisfaction.
• Coordinate with nursing and other departments to support resident dietary needs.
• Maintain accurate dietary records and documentation.
• Monitor kitchen cleanliness, sanitation, equipment, and food storage practices.
• Ensure compliance with applicable state, federal, and facility regulations.
• Prepare for surveys, audits, and inspections and address any identified concerns.
• Support quality improvement initiatives related to nutrition and dining services.
