Job summary

Birch Creek Post Acute & Rehabilitation in Tacoma, WA is seeking a Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) to lead our dietary department in a dynamic skilled nursing setting. This full-time role offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

You will plan and direct dietary operations, ensure regulatory compliance, supervise staff, develop menus with the Registered Dietitian, and maintain high sanitation standards to promote resident wellness.

Qualifications

• Active CDM certification required.
• CFPP certification preferred or required.
• 2+ years in dietary management, preferably in LTC/SNF.

Your Role

As our Certified Dietary Manager, you will:

• Plan, direct, and coordinate all dietary operations
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
• Lead, schedule, and train dietary staff
• Develop and oversee menus in collaboration with the Registered Dietitian
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and food safety
• Partner with nursing and administrative staff to meet resident needs

Qualifications

• Active CDM, CFPP certification required
• 2+ years in dietary management, preferably in LTC/SNF
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Working knowledge of regulatory requirements (CMS, DOH)
• ServSafe Certification (or ability to obtain)
