PACS Group in the United States is seeking a Dietary Director to oversee the dietary department, including meal planning, preparation, and service delivery. You will ensure safety, nutrition, and regulatory compliance while managing staff and budgets.

The role involves coordinating with nursing and activities departments, conducting nutritional assessments, and leading QA/IDT activities to enhance resident well-being and satisfaction.

Competenze

• Experience managing dietary staff in a long-term care setting.
• Knowledge of PCC software is preferred.
• Must maintain required continuing education and licensing.

• Direct and participate in safe, appetizing meal preparation and service.
• Maintain food quality, portion control, and menu compliance.
• Manage department budget and procure supplies.
• Plan special meals for holidays and facility events.
• Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate dietary staff; manage disciplinary actions.
• Coordinate dietary services with nursing and activities departments.
• Participate in QA and IDT meetings.
• Present in-service education programs for dietary staff.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and safety in the kitchen.
• Visit residents for nutritional assessments and document accordingly.
