Skyline Healthcare Center-San Jose seeks an experienced dietary services leader to coordinate the total operation of the dietary department, ensuring quality nutrition for residents and patients. You will supervise staff, manage menus, and oversee strict adherence to company policies and state/federal guidelines.

The role includes recruiting and training staff, monitoring service quality, and participating in nutritional care planning.

Formación

• Must meet state-specific requirements for food service managers or dietary managers.
• RD or equivalent certification may be required depending on facility.
• Experience in supervising dietary staff and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Responsabilidades

• Recruit, hire, orient, train, and retain dietary staff.
• Supervise preparation and service of menus per guidelines.
• Ensure proper storage, handling, and serving of food per policies and laws.
• Purchase dietary food and supplies within budget.
• Maintain accurate financial records for dietary services.
• Contribute to nutritional plan of care for residents and patients.
• Oversee quality assurance in food preparation and nutrition education.
