Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent is required.
• One year supervised food service experience in an institutional setting focusing on planning, preparing and servicing regular and therapeutic diets.
• May be filled by a Registered Dietitian.

• Manages food service operations and coordinates nutritional services for residents and patients.
• Recruits, hires, orients, trains, and retains staff; conducts timely performance appraisals.
• Supervises menu preparation, nourishments, and supplements per policy and guidelines.
• Ensures properReceiving, storage, preparation, holding and serving per policies and guidelines.
• Manages dietary purchases within assigned budgets and approved sources.
• Maintains accurate financial records for the dietary department.
• Contributes to the nutritional care plan and quality assurance processes.
• Assists with nutritional education for residents, patients, families, and caregivers.
