Job summary

Woodside Senior Communities is seeking individuals for part-time or full-time food service positions in Green Bay, WI. You will assist in meal preparation, serving, dishwashing, and cleaning the dining areas to support residents’ dining experiences.

Starting wage is $15.20 per hour. Responsibilities include prep work, delivering meals, stocking supplies, and upholding HIPAA/HITECH privacy regulations while supporting the organization’s mission and values.

Qualifications

• Previous food service experience or classes and some knowledge of therapeutic diets, food safety, and sanitation preferred.
• Must have ability to plan and organize work effectively.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and serves meals and beverages according to menus and diets.
• Assists with prep work and helps the Cook as needed.
• Transports and retrieves dietary carts to unit dining rooms.
• Sets up dining rooms and cleans up after meals.
• Delivers meals to Oaks dining room during breakfast and lunch.

Hours:Part-Time or Full-Time Positions Available

Starting Wage:$15.20/hour

POSITION SUMMARY:

Assists in the preparation, serving, and clean up of meals. Properly washes and sanitizes all dishes, assists in tray line assembly, and delivers food carts to dining rooms. Properly disposes of refuse, cleans and sanitizes dining rooms, dish room, and kitchen.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Prepares and serves meals and beverages according to prepared menus, prescribed diets of residents, or dietary requests
• Assists with prep work throughout the course of the day and assists the Cook as needed
• Transports and retrieves dietary carts to unit dining rooms
• Sets up each dining room before each meal and cleans up after each meal
• Makes snacks and sandwiches for stocking fridges in nursing stations
• Stocks and cleans coffee bars
• Uses dish washer and garbage disposal and cleans and sanitizes work area
• Cleans all refrigerators and stocks supplies in the dining room including both food and cleaning supplies
• Monitors the kitchen and dining rooms for any needed supplies and restocks when necessary
• Assists with the setup and teardown/cleanup from all functions/parties
• Delivers meal service to the Oaks dining room during breakfast and lunch meals
• Supports the Mission, Vision, and values of Woodside Senior Communities
• Is knowledgeable of resident rights and ensures an atmosphere which allows for the privacy, dignity, and well-being of all residents/tenants in a safe, secure environment
• Observes care in ensuring the confidentiality of all data, including resident, employee, and operations data as required by HIPAA/HITECH regulations
• Abides by all applicable statutes and regulations through compliance with the Woodside Corporate Compliance and Ethics Program
• Completes requirements for in-service training
• Completes other tasks and duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
