Job summary

Pacific Coast Post-Acute in Salinas, CA seeks an experienced Dietary Manager to lead our dietary department, supervise staff, ensure nutritious meals, and maintain food safety for residents in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting.

This full-time role offers competitive pay of $32–$33 per hour (DOE) and benefits for eligible employees, with collaborative work alongside nursing and activities to support resident well-being.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Dietary Manager course.
• Experience in long-term care dietary department preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety and therapeutic diets.
• Familiarity with PCC software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee meal preparation and service to meet dietary requirements.
• Plan special meals for holidays and events.
• Hire, train, supervise dietary staff and manage schedules.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
• Collaborate with Dietitian and nursing for resident care.
• Maintain diet cards and resident nutrition records.
