Job summary

Qualifications

• Previous dietary or food service leadership experience preferred.
• Long-term care or healthcare experience is a plus.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

• Compassionate and resident-focused approach.
• Dietary Manager certification/credentials preferred, but experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and support the dietary team.

• Maintain compliance with state, federal, and facility food service regulations.
• Monitor food quality, sanitation, cleanliness, and safety standards.
• Manage dietary schedules, staffing, and department needs.
• Assist with food ordering, inventory, and cost control.
• Work closely with nursing and other departments to meet resident nutritional needs.
• Respond to resident and family feedback and help create a positive dining experience.
• Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
