Job summary

Harmony House Care Center is seeking a Dietary Manager to lead the Dietary Department and ensure residents receive meals that meet their nutritional needs. You will plan and direct all aspects of the dietary program, supervise dietary staff, uphold cleanliness, and maintain a pleasant and safe dining experience for residents.

The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, food sanitation certification, and Iowa CDM certification; prior Dietary Manager experience is

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Food sanitation certification.
• State of Iowa Dietary Manager Certification (CDM).
• Prior Dietary Manager experience preferred.

• Take charge of the Dietary Department and plan and direct all aspects of the program.
• Supervise Dietary Staff and ensure department cleanliness.
• Ensure residents receive meals meeting their nutritional needs and maintain a pleasant, safe dining experience.

As a Dietary Manager you will take charge of the Dietary Department. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of food quality they have grown to expect at Harmony House Care Center by planning and directing all aspects of the Dietary Department, supervising Dietary Staff, ensuring department cleanliness and ensuring residents receive meals that meet their nutritional needs. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they receive a pleasant and safe dining experience.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent, food sanitation certification, and State of Iowa Dietary Manager Certification (C.D.M) Prior Dietary Manager experience are preferable but we are willing to invest in the right candidate!
