Job summary

Nick's Health Care Center in Missouri is seeking a Dietary Manager to oversee the dietary department, ensure quality nutrition for residents, and lead a team of kitchen staff.

You will plan and direct department operations, manage budgets and food costs, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local standards. ServSafe certification is required or obtainable within 60 days.

Qualifications

• Must have ServSafe Manager Certification or ability to obtain within 60 days.
• Must demonstrate empathy, patience and integrity in care duties.
• Ability to plan, organize and direct dietary department operations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, develop, and direct the dietary department in compliance with standards.
• Ensure quality nutritional services are provided daily to residents.
• Participate in budgeting process and manage food costs.
• Supervise and motivate dietary staff to foster teamwork.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operations of the dietary department in compliance with federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations
• Ensure quality nutritional services are provided daily to residents
• Participate in the facility’s budgeting process
• Manage departmental budget and food costs effectively
• Select, supervise, and motivate dietary staff, fostering teamwork and collaboration

Requirements:

• Current ServSafe Manager Certification, or ability to obtain within 60 days of employment
