Job summary

Arcadia Care is seeking a Dietary Manager to partner with the Dietitian in planning, organizing, and directing the Dietary Department to ensure high-quality nutritional services and a clean, safe environment. You will oversee staffing, supplies, and equipment while maintaining compliance with standards.

The role requires a high school diploma and a Food Service Sanitation Manager Certification, plus at least 3 years of supervisory experience in healthcare facilities; 1 year as Dietary Manager is

Qualifications

Job Summary

The Dietary Manager is responsible for partnering with the Dietitian to plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operation of the Dietary Department in accordance with current, federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations governing our facility, to assure that quality nutritional services are provided daily and that the Dietary Department is maintained in a clean, safe, and sanitary manner.

Essential Duties

• Partnering with the Dietician to plan, develop, budget, organize, implement, evaluate, manage, and direct the Dietary Department, its programs, and activities in accordance with patients care plans, guidelines, regulations, and safety standards.
• Ensure staffing, supplies, and equipment are satisfactorily maintained and all documentation filed in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Must possess, as a minimum, a high school diploma.
• Must possess Food Service Sanitation Manager Certification.
• Must have, as a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital, nursing care facility, or other related medical facility.
