Job summary

Surry Health Center by Harborview is seeking a dedicated Dietary Manager to lead the food service at our facility. You will oversee daily operations, ensure therapeutic diets meet physician orders, and support the dietary team in providing compassionate, high-quality meals for residents.

Responsibilities include menu planning, cost control, MDS contributions, resident weight monitoring, and maintaining regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience managing food service in long-term care or healthcare is required.
• Knowledge of therapeutic diets and regulatory dietary standards.
• Infection control procedures knowledge.
• ServSafe or equivalent food safety certification.
• Certified Dietary Manager or equivalent certification.

• Set and manage performance standards for food service delivery, optimizing efficiency, quality, and satisfaction
• Ensure proper resource planning, cost control, and operational processes within the department
• Supervise and support dietary staff, fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and hospitality
• Duties as assigned

What You Will Do
