Job summary

Holton Health Care Center is seeking a Dietary Manager to lead and oversee the dietary department, ensuring high-quality nutritional services for residents and compliance with applicable standards.

The role involves budgeting, cost control, staff supervision, and fostering teamwork to deliver excellent patient care in a facility setting. Certification in ServSafe Manager is required or must be obtained within 60 days of employment.

Qualifications

• Current ServSafe Manager Certification, or ability to obtain within 60 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operations of the dietary department in compliance with federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.
• Ensure quality nutritional services are provided daily to residents.
• Participate in the facility’s budgeting process.
• Manage departmental budget and food costs effectively.
• Select, supervise, and motivate dietary staff, fostering teamwork and collaboration.
