Job summary

Fair View Health Care Center is seeking a Dietary Manager to oversee the dietary department and ensure nutritious meals for residents. The role emphasizes empathy, patience, and strong team leadership in a healthcare setting.

The ideal candidate holds a ServSafe Manager Certification and can implement budget-conscious food services while coordinating with staff, residents, and families to maintain high standards of care.

Qualifications

• Must have ServSafe Manager Certification or ability to obtain within 60 days.

• Willing to care for residents and staff and maintain high standards of service.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, develop, and direct the dietary department operations in compliance with standards and regulations.
• Ensure quality nutritional services are provided daily to residents.
• Participate in the facility’s budgeting process.
• Manage departmental budget and food costs effectively.
• Select, supervise, and motivate dietary staff, fostering teamwork and collaboration.

• Plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operations of the dietary department in compliance with federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations

• Ensure quality nutritional services are provided daily to residents

• Participate in the facility’s budgeting process

• Manage departmental budget and food costs effectively

• Select, supervise, and motivate dietary staff, fostering teamwork and collaboration

Requirements:
