Job summary

Fort Wayne Health Campus is seeking a Dietary Manager to lead the dietary department, shape menus, and develop the team. You will ensure meals are produced on schedule and meet resident expectations.

You will manage budgets, oversee the tray line, and maintain compliance with sanitation and safety regulations while hiring and coaching staff for high performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CDM certification required.
• ServSafe certification required.
• Knowledge of dietetic principles, food sanitation, and large-scale food service.

Responsibilities

• Own the quality of food across menus, production systems, and specs.
• Ensure meals are prepared and served on schedule.
• Oversee tray line and meal distribution for accuracy and resident satisfaction.
• Build and operate within the department budget.
• Keep the department compliant with sanitation and food safety regulations.
• Hire, train, and develop the dietary team.
• Review performance and coach staff to a high standard.
• Run test trays, tour reports, and resident admission interviews.
