We are seeking a dedicated Dietary Manager to direct, evaluate, and monitor the staff assigned to your department, including issuing disciplinary actions as necessary and performing probationary and annual evaluations of employee performance.

Dietary Managers must have the following:

• Current CDM certification
• Previous long-term care experience
• Prior management experience is required

As a skilled, driven Dietary Manager, you will:

1. Run day-to-day operations within the department.
2. Manage food service employees - scheduling, hiring, and performance management.
3. Prepare meals according to planned menus and make only authorized food substitutes.
4. Prepare food with standardized recipes and special diet orders.
5. Review care plans as necessary to ensure that the resident’s dietary needs are being met.
6. Provide nutrition counseling with assistance from a registered dietician.
7. Work as part of an interdisciplinary team to ensure smooth operation within the facility.
